PEOPLE MOVE: DeVere Group, Zurich, Barclays Private Bank



DeVere Group

Dimitris Litsikakis has been appointed Managing Director of his DeVere E-Money e-money brand.

He was Global Head of FinTech at DeVere Group for two and a half years.

Litsikakis will succeed Nigel Green, founder and CEO of the DeVere group, with immediate effect. Green retains 100% of the shares and remains on the board of directors of DeVere E-Money.


The insurance giant has hired Frank Verkerk as the group’s platform manager.

He joined Zurich on August 16, 2021, from ABN Amro, where he was Chief Digital Officer.

Barclays Private Bank

He appointed Evonne Tan to head Barclays Private Bank Singapore.

Tan joins Barclays from UHNW Singapore, where she was responsible for the market team responsible for managing the UHNW Singapore business.

Standard Chartered

The bank has appointed Anshu Sharma Raja as Chief Information Officer for Personal, Personal and Business Banking.

She will be based in Singapore and replace Paul Macpherson, who will be leaving to pursue opportunities outside the bank.

Raja joined the bank in September 2018 and in his current role as Global Head of Retail Banking Products Technology.

Route group

The financial services firm has appointed Scott Nelson as director of its fiduciary activities with responsibility for a mixed clientele of private and corporate clients.

Prior to joining Fairway, he worked at Accuro Trust (Jersey) and most recently at Zedra Trust Company as an associate director specializing in business services.

Campine Van Lanschot

The wealth manager has appointed Lars Dijkstra as director of sustainability.

Dijkstra has been the Investment Director of Van Lanschot Kempen since 2005.

Erik van Houwelingen, member of the management board and chairman of the management board of Kempen Capital Management, will assume the current functions of Dijkstra.

FE investments

The discretionary portfolio management service provider has appointed Toyosi Lewis as its retirement investment specialist.

He joined FE Investments after Timelineapp where he was responsible for providing technical support and training to IFAs and asset managers on decumulation strategies.


The offshore law firm has appointed Ross Munro as its global managing partner, effective January 1, 2022.

Peter Tarn is stepping down after nine years as chairman and will continue to practice as a partner at BVI.

Munro joined the firm in 2005 at BVI as a fund partner, became a partner in 2008 and was appointed global head of investment funds in 2012.

He assumed the role of Global Head of Trust in 2013.

Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC)

Managing Director Martin Moloney is leaving the Jersey regulator to assume the role of Secretary General of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO).

He joined the JFSC in February 2019

Jill Britton, JFSC’s Director of Oversight, will be interim CEO when Moloney leaves in September 2021.

The Association for Retirement and Life Savings (PLSA)

Emma Douglas will assume the presidency on October 14, 2021 at the PLSA’s annual general meeting.

She will initially serve as president of the PLSA for three years; but this can be extended for up to three more years.

This appointment will see Douglas succeed past president Richard Butcher, whose four-year term ends at the PLSA AGM.

Douglas has chaired the PLSA Policy Voard since 2018, was until recently Director of DC at Legal & General Investment Management and will soon assume the new role of Managing Director of Workplace Savings at Aviva.
